1st Semester Honor Roll Students

Recognition

Awards and Recognition Quarter Assemblies

Student Recognition

This is the second year of P.R.L.H.S. Student of the Month and Student of the Year. These two programs have been implemented to honor and recognize outstanding students.  P.R.L.H.S. staff nominates students representing each grade level. The Building Leadership Team selects the recipients based on the prescribed criteria for each month of the school year.  A total of 10 are selected each year and they receive a commemorative gift, certificate and recognition on the Wall of Fame and at the quarterly assembly. Each spring the staff nominates both a female and male student in each grade level as the Student of the Year.  These young individuals represent the best in academics, citizenship, responsibility and good service to others.  They are given a commemorative gift, name on a plaque and picture on the Wall of Fame. P.R.L. H. S. also recognizes students by awarding them a Pat On The Back.  This recognition can be for the following reasons but not exclusive to:  improved or good work ethic, generosity and kindness, putting their best self forward, going above and beyond. They receive individual recognition, a certificate and a commemorative gift donated by our PTO. This year PRLHS implemented a No F campaign to Focus on Learning and reduce the number of missing assignments and increase passing grades.  P.R.L.H. S. No F campaign is model after Timberlake High School (thank you Tigers) and began at the beginning of second semester. All PRLHS students’ names are placed into the weekly drawing. A student name is draw each week and if they have no missing assignments or F grades they earn a $10 award.  This program is sponsored by P.R.L.H.S. PTO.
